Since our chartering in 1930, the Austin Alumnae Chapter has proudly upheld the legacy and vision of our Founders through unwavering commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. For 95 years, we have answered the call to serve, making a lasting impact in the communities where we live, work, and worship.

OUR SORORITY
Founded in 1913 at Howard University, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a global sisterhood committed to service, scholarship, and social change. With over 350,000 members worldwide, we continue to uplift communities and empower future leaders.
OUR CHAPTER
Chartered on November 26, 1930, the Austin Alumnae Chapter (formerly Sigma Sigma Chapter) was chartered by National President Soror Anna J. Thompson as Austin’s first Black Greek-letter graduate chapter.
OUR COMMUNITY
The Austin Alumnae Chapter is a proud community leader, partnering with local Divine Nine organizations, the Travis County Tax Assessor, the Austin Revitalization Authority, Saint Louise House, and others to drive impactful change throughout the community.
